Summer Reading Club

Links for signing up and for logging in to the Summer Reading Club will appear here starting June 15, 2013

Guidelines

  • ¤ Registration begins June 15th (Registration for Classes will be taken on a first-come first-serve basis until that class is full. You may register for the Reading Club anytime during the summer)
  • ¤ Set up your personal account (*see directions below*). 
  • ¤ Record your minutes in your account.
  • ¤ Children ages 3-11 read 120 minutes and receive a ticket.  Tickets can be used at the End of Summer Carnival. 
  • ¤ Teens read 600 minutes and receive 3 tickets for the End of Summer Carnival and a ticket to put in the drawing for the grand prize (no limit).  Winner announced August 17th at the Carnival.
  • ¤ Adults ages 19 and up, read a book, read an an eBook, or listen to an audio book.  For every review you complete on-line, earn a chance to win a prize in our weekly drawings which begin June 15.  Grand prize drawing held on August 15.
  • ¤ Free Book Fridays!  Visit the library on Friday and receive a free book for ages birth to 18 years.
  • ¤ Patrons attending the Summer Reading Club programs must park in the First Niagra Bank’s parking lot. 

How to Set Up an Account

Sign-up begins June 15th.  Click on the Evanced icon appearing at the top of this page (icon will not appear until June 15th).  Then click on the program of your choice:

  • ¤ Dig Into Reading (ages 3-11)
  • ¤ Beneath the Surface (ages 12-18)
  • ¤ Groundbreaking Reads (Adults)

Click on the sign me up tab.  Fill in all the lines with an * (the other spaces are optional).

When you have filled out all the information required click SAVE, a screen will come up stating that you have successfully registered.  Don’t forget to write down your password.  To enter your minutes, click the add/view tab and type in the # of minutes read.  Please log out when you are done.

Optional: If you would like to add other family members to your homepage so you can manage everyone’s account from one home page, click on the add member tab.

Select the program they will be in and fill out the information page.  This can be repeated for everyone in your family.

Once you have registered all your family members, you can access their account through your home page.  Click on the manage tab to see all accounts.  Click on the one you want and it will take you to their account.  All members entered this way must enter through your home page so, be sure everyone knows the password.

End of Summer Carnival Saturday, September 7 from 10:00am - 2:00pm

New this year!!  Bring the tickets that you earned throughout the summer to play games, get treats and do activities.  You can also purchase more tickets that day.  The more tickets you earn during the summer means more free stuff for you!
