Borrowing and Renewing
|
|
How many books may I borrow at one time? |
There is no limit to the number of items you
may borrow at any given time. Please remember that fines will be
incurred if the loan period is exceeded. |
|
How long may I keep a borrowed book or
material? |
Loan Periods for books and
materials vary.
Loan Periods for books and materials borrowed from other
libraries are subject to the loan periods established by that library. Please
check your receipt for the correct loan period. |
|
How do I renew a book? |
You may renew a book one of three ways:
1. You may stop in at the library with or without the book you want to renew. Our staff
will look up your account and renew the loan period for you.
2. You may call the library at (215) 679-2020 and request renewal of the book.
3. You may go online to the
McLinc website
or go to "Search the catalog/My account" on the left of the home page to renew the
book directly from your patron account.
DVDs may no longer be renewed online or over the phone as
there is an additional $1 charge for the additional 7 day rental period. |
|
How many times may I renew a borrowed
book? |
You may renew a book from Upper Perkiomen
Valley Library once so long as there is no current request for that book.
Books borrowed from other libraries are subject to the renewal policies
established by that library. |
