Rental Books
|
|
What are rental books? |
Since many new and best seller books are in such high demand, the library
works with a third party vendor to offer additional copies of these books
for a small rental charge. These books are rented on a weekly basis
for $1 per week. |
|
How do I know which books are rental books? |
Rental books are prominently displayed at the library front desk and the
large table in the middle of the computer area. Rental books are
marked with a black and yellow "Rental" sticker on the binding of the book. |
|
How do I rent a rental book? |
When you have made you selections and are ready to check out, bring any
rental book along with your other selections to the front desk. A
rental book can be rented for one week at $1 or two weeks at $2. The
librarian assisting you will accept your rental fee and the loan period
ending date will be on your receipt. |
|
What happens if a rental book is overdue? |
Rental books that become overdue are subject to the library's overdue fine
schedule of $0.15 per day. |
